NORTH HIGH SCHOOL NEEDS YOU!

Omaha North High Magnet School’s PTSO strives to support all our students and staff.

Here’s a snapshot of the value of North’s PTSO funding:

Extra-curricular activities: The PTSO funds items and activities for athletic teams and school clubs based on applications and short presentations from student representatives. For example – new uniforms for the cross-country team – or competition fees for the African American History Challenge Club. The PTSO funds all kinds of things for these groups!
Post Prom: North’s PTSO hosts a Post prom for juniors and seniors, providing food, drinks, AND entertainment (including a hypnotist, games, and lots of awesome prizes!)
Staff Appreciation: The PTSO provides a little something for the staff each quarter to show how grateful we are for what they do.
Scholarships: The North PTSO awards four college scholarships each May!

Let’s show North’s students and staff how much we appreciate them.

The Bunny Den was created to alleviate family stress by offering Benson students a safe and confidential place to receive items necessary to meet their basic needs. We hope by fulfilling these needs students will be able to focus more on being successful in the classroom and being involved in school activities.

By donating, you are helping us provide students with basic non perishable food items, offer basic clothing and coats to students, and provide hygiene items for both males and females.

We also accept new and lightly used coats, hats and gloves in boys and girls sizes S-XL and men’s and women’s sizes S-XL. To donate these clothing items, please email Angela Johanek, Academy Specialist (Health, Business, & Design), Benson High Magnet Coordinator, or call 531.299.8040, to arrange delivery or pick-up.

The Omaha Schools Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and go directly to the intended program, project or scholarship. Credit card transaction fees (2.2% + $.30) are deducted for each online donation; however, no additional OPSF administrative fees are deducted from any donation made online or by check.

Rose Hill Elementary School’s vision is to provide a safe, loving and supportive school environment for students to grow and learn to reach their highest potential. We prioritize joy as we partner with our community to help students achieve their goals. Our Rose Hill PTO supports us in these efforts.

Donations collected will be used to provide supplies for classrooms to promote learning as well as support our teachers and students in some extra ways– celebrations, incentives, teacher appreciation, and additional learning supplies.

McMillan Matters is McMillan’s annual direct giving campaign. We can reach our goal with YOUR help!

McMillan students and staff are the DIRECT beneficiaries of your donations:

Prizes for “Students of the Month”
$500 given to a scholarship fund for a McMillan alum
Staff meals during parent teacher conferences
Gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week, and MUCH MORE!

OPS Central High Band

Dear Band Members and Parents,

Our Central High School Band is one of the finest in the state of Nebraska. It is the goal of the Central Band Parent Organization to provide an opportunity for every student to participate in the Central High School Band program.

We hope to build an endowment that will ensure that financial need is not a barrier preventing a student from participating in Marching Band.

When the need arises, financial assistance for instrument repair, uniform need may be available to every student when based on a recommendation by staff and parents.

Gifford Park Elementary Fundraiser

OPS Gifford Park Elementary Gifford Park Elementary opened its doors in August of 2019, and serves students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The Gifford Park Elementary PTO is raising funds to support the school.
