“My students would love to see new technology in the art room. An iPad would enhance their learning and prepare them for the future. There are many apps for the iPad that will give my students exposure to art, artists and museums throughout the world. This will help them to connect with the world in new and exciting ways. My classes can examine art works from the National Gallery of Art and create their own works using Apps like NGA (National Gallery of Art) kids Art Zone. My students will see works of art come to life and tell their stories through ChatterPix Kids, Stop Motion and other animation projects can be explored through new technology. These are only a few of the ways that an iPad will keep my students excited and engrossed in learning. It will also help me to explore new engagement strategies using technology in my classroom.”
