Purpose:

To assist students wishing to major in education in college, with the goal of becoming a teacher.

Eligible Recipients:

Two graduating seniors who are alumni of Dodge Elementary School.

Selection Process:

  1. Students must submit a short essay stating their future plans both professionally and personally. Included in the essay should be their reason for choosing to become a teacher.
  2. Students must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or administrator.
  3. Students will submit a current transcript.
  4. Students will state which year/s they attended Dodge Elementary School.

 Amount:

$500.00 payable to the college or university upon the Foundation’s receipt of verification of enrollment from the institution chosen by the recipient.

Final Selection:

Final recipients will be chosen by the principal of Dodge Elementary School.
