Summary:

This scholarship is in remembrance of Lisa Yvonne Spivey. She was an advocate for student success and influenced every human she touched. She always saw the potential in people, even when they didn’t recognize it within themselves. This scholarship is intended for students who are graduating from Blackburn Alternative Program and that are pursuing post high school education.

Amount: Onetime $1,000

Guidelines

  • A student who holds senior status at Blackburn Alternative Program
  • Scholarship award can be used for anything that will support the success of the student in pursing post high school education

Timeline:

  • Applications will be accepted March 1 through April 15th with a decision announced by April 30.
