Miracle Hills Optimist / CHI Health Scholarship for a Two-Year Trade School

Eligibility:
- Applicant must be planning on enrolling in the upcoming fall term as a full-time student in an institution of higher learning (junior college, technical college) with no fewer than 12 credit hours in a two-year trade school program.
- Applicant must be a graduating senior during the present academic year of application at Burke High School
- Applicant must be performing satisfactorily in all subjects currently enrolled at Burke High School
- Applicant’s weighted GPA must be less than 3.7 on a 4.0 scale
- Applicant must complete and attach a one-page written essay summarizing their short- and long-term goals and how they intend to achieve them.
- Applicant will be considered without regard to race, creed, religion, or sex
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed initially by the faculty scholarship committee with the final selection made by the Miracle Hills Optimist Club.
Should you be selected for this award, please send verification of your enrollment at the college or university of your choice and a “Thank You” note directed to the donor to Omaha Public Schools Foundation. The award will be forwarded to the college of choice upon receipt.
