Teacher Wish Lists Fall 2022

Fall 2022 Teachers’ Wish Lists (Open August 15th)

Omaha Public Schools Foundation (OPSF) wants teachers and administrators to know we are here to support your curriculum goals through additional funding that broadens the classroom experience for your students.

OPSF funds learning opportunities and experiences for OPS students such as:

  • Skills building programs for coding, math, and language arts development
  • Hands-on science experiments/kits, STEM kits/bins, and robotics modules
  • Educational Field Trips
  • Leadership, cultural diversity, wellness, and social development opportunities
  • Creative writing, music, and art experiences
  • Fidget items for ACP classrooms
  • Enrichment programs
These funds are meant to help you with supplies for your classroom, however, we do not fund reams of copier paper.  This is available through the District.  Please always feel free to reach out to Toba Cohen-Dunning, OPSF Executive Director, at with questions.

(The Form Deadline is 12:00 noon, on September 2, 2022)

If you could have one item that would enhance your teaching platform or curriculum materials, what would it be? This year the OPSF Board has again made a commitment to fund Teachers’ Wish Lists with proceeds from their fundraising efforts.

We’re asking that OPS Teachers, who have not had a list funded in the previous year, complete the form below (available August 15th) and list their top 3 priority items. We need the Amazon link to each specific item and how many of each item you are requesting. Total wish list costs should not exceed $300.00.

Please remember that these items are property of the district and will be approved by the Curriculum and Learning committee. If you are not sure if the item falls under these guidelines, check with your school principal before listing.
